November 9-10, 2013 the first Level 2 Healing Touch class ever on the North Olympic peninsula was held here in sunny Sequim. Anna Marie Newman, RN,  HTCP/I from Ellensburg was the instructor for the class which I coordinated. There were 9 students and 2 helpers attending, and most of these are registered to go on to Level 3 in February 2014.

Congratulations to a fine group of students.

Last month I was privileged to attend the 12th Annual Gathering of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers in Kathmandu, Nepal.

It was a powerfully spiritual event, attended by about 250 people.

The grandmothers promote world peace, nurturing our earth, caring for the children, and respect for the wisdom traditions of indigenous people around the world.

I was also able to visit Aparna Bhatta, a Healing Touch practitioner and instructor in Nepal,and learn more about the healing work and teaching she is doing there. What a dynamic woman, bringing new training in energy medicine to this part of the world.
